LA CROSSE (WKBT) — A $9,506,767 contract to reconstruct WIS 35 between the La Crosse/Vernon County line and Sunnyside Drive in La Crosse has approval from the DOT and Governor`s office.
The DOT made that announcement in a release Wednesday. Work begins on Monday.
The project includes pavement reconstruction, rebuilding the County GI/County K intersection, culvert replacement and replacing the Momon Creek bridge deck.
WIS 35 will remain open to traffic during construction, though County GI will temporarily close for railroad crossing improvements. Construction crews will maintain access to businesses and residences throughout the project...
