Co-founder of La Crosse-based The Trane Company named to National Inventors Hall of Fame


LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) – Born in La Crosse in September 1886, Reuben Trane will be inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame as part of the 2026 class. Trane Technologies announced this honor Monday, highlighting his pioneering work in heating, air conditioning, and climate control.
