The Gays Mills Apple Festival occurs on the final full weekend in September to coincide with the apple harvest.

Events include a mini carnival, parade, vendor market featuring arts & crafts, a flea markets as well as a vast array of music, dancing, food & festivities at Robb Park, the Community Commerce Building, the Log Cabin Village, the area orchards, the Crawford County Fairgrounds (on the south side of Gays Mills) and many other village locations.

Located in the heart of the Driftless Region sits Gays Mills, the Apple Capital of Wisconsin. The Apple Festival celebrates the apple harvest with parades, carnivals, arts and crafts, flea markets, music, dancing, fun run/walk, food and festivities. Gays Mills offers many outdoor adventures for all ages from the bucolic Kickapoo River to the scenic Apple Orchards.
