Irishfest Lacrosse

The three-day festival will feature headlining performances from Celtic rock band Gaelic Storm and Irish folk group High Kings, along with traditional festival favorites including the 5K Kilt Run and mashed potato eating contest.

This year`s theme centers on Irish Pirates, exploring Ireland`s rich maritime heritage and lesser-known seafaring history.

"You can imagine the country itself being an island they did a lot of shipping, a lot of fishing. So, pirates and as Casey said they had a lot of female pirates at that time which people may not know. You can learn a lot about it in the cultural tent this Irish Fest," said Pat Stephens, president of Irish Fest.
