Our own Freedom Park (in Prescott) which is situated at the confluence of the St. Croix and Mississippi Rivers was featured on the show MN Bound recently.
The park offers stunning river overlooks, a playground, picnic areas, and a visitor center. It is a known eagle-release site and has a live camera feed to observe eagles and other river traffic. The park is named after "Freedom," an injured bald eagle rehabilitated and released there in 1981. It has since become a release site for many other recovered birds.
