![]() The ferry service at Lansing, Iowa is continuing, with a new boat now on duty. The Newt Marine ferry has taken the place of the Pride of Cassville ferry, which had been operating at Lansing through the winter, following the shutdown and partial demolition of the old Lansing bridge over the Mississippi. Last Friday, the Pride of Cassville headed south to its home base, to
resume its regular car ferry service between Cassville and eastern Iowa.
The new bridge now being built at Lansing is expected to open about a
