When Madison-based insurance provider Quartz Health Solutions issued an anti-racism statement in September, it was more than just a statement.“It’s easy to create a statement and it’s easy to say that our organization is talking about racism and how to be anti-racist organization,” says Quartz Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer Kimila Daniels. “It’s much more important to actually put it into practice and have some actionable items that we’re following through on.
