Celebrating Pride 2023 in the Madison community

Pride month is celebrated in the month of June to commemorate and celebrate lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) culture and history.

In honor of Pride month, the Wisconsin Historical Society has  unveiled a traveling exhibit — We will Always Be Here: Wisconsin’s LGBTQ+ Historymakers.  The exhibit has been traveling around the state since May 29 and lets Wisconsin resident explore the history of LGBTQ+ activism in Wisconsin.
