![]() Company director of construction says 'current economic conditions' contributed to a pause in planned constructionPleasant Prairie-based Uline is looking to pause its development of a more than 1 million-square-foot distribution center in Kenosha due to economic uncertainty. The company, a distributor of shipping, packaging and industrial supplies, asked the city for a 12-month extension on a conditional use permit. It would allow the company to postpone construction until 2027 or later, according to a memo from Brad Folkert, director of construction at Uline. Folkert wrote that the company wanted to delay the project due to “current economic conditions and available space within Uline’s existing network.”... RSK: The economy should turn around later this year and this giant warehouse/distribution center will get built. | ||
