Top Brokers Leave Newmark After Suing Firm, Boss


More details have come to light in the power struggle on a high-profile Boston commercial real estate brokerage team that has now led to two top producers leaving Newmark.

Boston Capital Markets brokers Matthew Pullen and Edward "Woody" Maher Jr. have parted ways with the firm after filing a lawsuit against Newmark and their boss, Rob Griffin, in May, according to an Aug. 3 filing from their attorney, Ellen Zucker.

The brokers left their roles July 13 but did not resign voluntarily, Zucker wrote in the filing.
