Today, the Internet has flipped lease marketing on its head. Tenants are using the internet to drive commercial real estate leasing . . .  pulling buildings and brokers to them.

Tenant-Driven Leasing

When tenants do the driving they search for a building . . . not for a broker. Tenants start their search for a new location using the internet.  The internet provides them with the comfort, speed and convenience they want when trying to identify a building.  When they find a building of interest, they will contact the broker directly or quite possibly visit the broker’s website and then give the broker a call.
